...ja ich weiß, das wurde schon öfter zum Megatrend ausgerufen, doch diesmal ist alles anders ;-)
Obama hat in letzter Zeit zu viel über die Reduzierung des CO2 Ausstoßes und den Klimawandel gesprochen, um das länger zu ignorieren. Hier Obamas letzte Videobotschaft des Weißen Hauses. Gestern hat er in der Georgetown University eine Rede gehalten, und seine politische "Vision" etwas konkretisiert. Der gesamte Redetext findet sich hier. Für Investoren sind solche Sätze interessant: "A low-carbon, clean energy economy can be an engine of growth for decades to come. And I want America to build that engine. I want America to build that future -- right here in the United States of America. That’s our task." oder: "Over the past four years, we've doubled the electricity that we generate from zero-carbon wind and solar power. And that means jobs -- jobs manufacturing the wind turbines that now generate enough electricity to power nearly 15 million homes; jobs installing the solar panels that now generate more than four times the power at less cost than just a few years ago." oder: " ...because billions of your tax dollars continue to still subsidize some of the most profitable corporations in the history of the world, my budget once again calls for Congress to end the tax breaks for big oil companies, and invest in the clean-energy companies that will fuel our future."
Eine CO2-Regulierung, wahrscheinlich in Form einer hohen CO2-Steuer wird kommen! - das ist zumindest wahrscheinlich, und ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, sich darauf vorzubereiten. Hier gibt es einen Artikel von J. Mintzmyer zu diesem Thema.
Eine Firma, die von diesem Megatrend profitieren wird, ist natürlich Hydrogenics, doch es könnte sich auch hier lohnen, sein Portfolio breiter zu streuen, und auf mehrere Unternehmen zu setzen. Broadwind Energy ist ein "Windfeld-Service-Unternehmen", das auch Teile für Windturbinen produziert, und wie Hydrogenics kurz vor der Gewinnschwelle steht.
