Der Umsatz kletterte zwischen Juli und September um fast 14 Prozent auf rund 18,8 Milliarden Euro. Unter dem Strich verdienten die Münchner knapp 1,29 Milliarden Euro – 16 Prozent mehr als vor einem Jahr. Weltweit hat BMW im dritten Quartal 435 000 Autos abgesetzt. 2012 sollen mehr als 1,7 Millionen Autos verkauft sein. Von Januar bis September sind davon mehr als 1,3 Millionen geschafft.
