Nicht der günstigste Einstiegskurs,
denn heute steht die Aktie bei 23 CAN-$. Anfang Oktober hätte man sie unter 18 $ bekommen können. Aber mir bleibt nichts anderes übrig, als sie jetzt zu empfehlen, denn Sharewise hat meine alte Empfehlung nach 6 Monaten automatisch beendet. Und Iamgold gehört nun mal zu meinem Portfolio.
Iamgold ist in gewisser Weise das Gegenteil von (meiner anderen Empfehlung) Agnico-Eagle-Mines:
Eine junge Minengesellschaft, die schnell gewachsen ist. Und dem Management ist in den letzten Jahren immer alles gelungen. Es gab keine "Hiobsbotschaften" von der Firma. Ein nachhaltig positiver Newsflow!
Falls die Aktie unterbewertet ist, was ich vermute, liegt es wohl an der verbreiteten Skepsis gegenüber Goldminen im Algemeinen, und "junior-mines" im Besonderen.
Grundsätzlich empfehle ich Goldminen als Versicherung für Investitionen in die Finanzindustrie. Und im Falle einer Deflation werden sich Golminen viel besser als Gold entwickeln. Von einer Inflation können sie aber auch profitieren. Und... Iamgold hat einen hohen Anteil Industriemetalle.
Ich bin zwecks Risikostreuung auch noch long in Goldcorp und Newmont. Nachdem "ich gehebelt bin", und auch nie Kursstops setze, bin ich auch recht risikobewusst.
