Der Gesundheitskonzern Fresenius hat in den ersten neun Monaten die Erwartungen der Analysten übertroffen. Wie der Dax-Konzern am Mittwoch mitteilte, trug dazu vor allem die Sparte für Generika und Infusionen Kabi bei. Das EBIT kletterte demnach um 5 Prozent auf 1,862 Milliarden US-Dollar und der bereinigte Nettogewinn stieg um 14 Prozent auf 565 Millionen Dollar.
Der Umsatz erhöhte sich um 2 Prozent auf 12,1 Milliarden Dollar und blieb als einzige Kennzahl hinter den Erwartungen der Analysten zurück. Das lag vor allem an ungünstigen Wechselkurseffekten. Deswegen stutzt Fresenius auch die Umsatzwachstumsprognose auf plus 6 Prozent statt vorher plus 7 bis 8 Prozent.
Den Ausblick für den Gewinn präzisierte das Unternehmen dagegen, nachdem es ihn bereits zweimal angehoben hatte - zuletzt im Sommer. Demnach soll das Konzernergebnis währungsbereinigt um 15 bis 18 Prozent steigen. Dabei erwarte Fresenius nun das Erreichen der oberen Hälfte der Bandbreite.
