Der Auftragsbestand soll demnach Ende des Jahres bei 6.874 Verkehrsflugzeugen gelegen haben. Zuletzt hatte Aviation Capital 35 Maschinen vom Typ A320 bestellt. Zudem hatte es Berichte
gegeben, wonach China Bank of Communications Financial Leasing 42 Flugzeuge von Airbus geordert haben soll. Außerdem soll Airbus vor einem Großauftrag von der saudi-arabischen Airlines
