Humana Inc. - Übernahme durch Aetna?
Besonders interessant wird Humana für den Anleger durch die Tatsache, dass schon vor einem Jahr der etwas größere Konkurrent Aetna ein Übernahmeangebot für Humana unterbreitet hatte, was im Oktober 2015 von den Humana-Aktionären akzeptiert wurde. Das Kaufangebot sieht den Umtausch einer Humana-Aktie in 0,8735 Anteile einer Aetna-Aktieplus einer Barzahlung von 125 Dollar vor. Zusammengerechnet bedeutet dies ein Gesamtangebot von knapp 226 Dollar für eine Humana-Aktie.
Dem steht allerdings noch entgegen, dass das US-Justizministerium durch die Megafusion eine Verringerung des Wettbewerbs und höhere Preise im Gesundheitswesen befürchtet und deswegen mittels einer Klage versucht, den Deal zu blocken. Humana und Aetna würden die Transaktion gerne noch bis zum Ende des Jahres abschließen und arbeiten derzeit daran, durch den Verkauf von verschiedenen Geschäftsteilen an kleinere Mitbewerber doch noch die Zustimmung der Behörden zu bekommen.
Wenn der Deal doch durchgehen sollen, dann ist noch etwas Luft nach oben drin!
