Im Startquartal 2016 wies Tencent einen Umsatz von 32 Mrd. Renminbi aus, der somit gegenüber dem Vergleichsquartal 2015 um 43 Prozent zulegte. Das Nettoergebnis lag bei 9,27 Mrd. Renminbi nach 6,93 Mrd. Renminbi im Vorjahr.
Den größten Umsatzanteil erzielte Tencent im Bereich Value Added Services, wo der Umsatz um 34 Prozent auf 24,96 Mrd. Renminbi zulegte. Dazu trug vor allem der Bereich Online Games mit neuen Smartphone-Spielen bei. Das Segment Online Advertising verzeichnete ein Umsatzplus von 73 Prozent auf 4,7 Mrd. Renminbi.
Nintento und Pokemon haben für Online Games gezeigt, was gehen kann. Tencent ist hier nicht schlecht aufgestellt, sehe hier noch weiteres Potential - vor allem im asiatischen Markt!
