Celesio ist eines der führenden europäischen Handels- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen rund um Arzneimittel. Die drei Geschäftsbereiche Patient and Consumer Solutions, Pharmacy Solutions und Manufacturer Solutions decken die gesamte Bandbreite des Pharmahandels und der pharmabezogenen Dienstleistungen ab. 2.337 eigene Präsenzapotheken als Teil von Patient and Consumer Solutions bedienen täglich über 550.000 Kunden in sieben Ländern. Dazu gehören auch die Versandapotheken, zum Beispiel Apotheke DocMorris in Deutschland oder Lloydspharmacy in Großbritannien.
Aufgrund der derzeit immer noch sehr günstigen Bewertung langfristig interessant. Auch wenn die "Demographieprobleme" in den Industrieländern kurzfristig noch nicht die große Rolle spielen, langfristig ist Celesio für die heutige Gesellschaft sehr interessant.
