Santa Clara, CA (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die amerikanische Intel Corp. (ISIN US4581401001/ WKN 855681) hat am Donnerstag nach US-Börsenschluss ihre Ergebnisse für das vierte Quartal und das Gesamtjahr 2010 veröffentlicht. Dabei konnte der größte Chip-Hersteller der Welt einen deutlichen Umsatz- und Gewinnanstieg erzielen.
Das Nettoergebnis belief sich auf 3,4 Mrd. Dollar bzw. 59 Cents je Aktie, was einer Steigerung von 15 Prozent entspricht. Das operative Ergebnis verbesserte sich um 5 Prozent auf 4,3 Mrd. Dollar. Die Umsätze stiegen im vierten Quartal 2010 auf 11,5 Mrd. Dollar - eine Zunahme von 3 Prozent.
Im Gesamtjahr 2010 zeigte sich eine noch deutlichere Verbesserung. Das Nettoergebnis wurde auf 11,7 Mrd. Dollar bzw. 2,05 Dollar je Aktie beziffert. Gegenüber dem Jahr 2009 entspricht dies einer Steigerung von 167 Prozent. Das operative Ergebnis verbesserte sich um 179 Prozent auf 15,9 Mrd. Dollar. Die Umsätze stiegen 2010 auf 43,6 Mrd. Dollar. Im Vergleich zum Jahr 2009 stellt dies eine Steigerung von 24 Prozent dar.
Intel-CEO Paul Otellini erklärte in der Pressemitteilung, dass 2010 das beste Jahr der Unternehmensgeschichte gewesen sei. Er gehe davon aus, dass 2011 noch besser werden könnte.
