Kupfer aus Laos
PanAust betreibt in Phu Kham eine Kupfermine und wird in 2010 ca. 60.000 Tonnen Kupfer produzieren. Mit 80 US Cent pro Pfund nach Vergütung der Nebenmetalle sind die Produktionskosten sehr niedrig. Die Entwicklung eines weiteren Kupfer/Silber Projektes in Laos wurde genehmigt und das Unternehmen hat Codelco ein Angebot zur Übernahme eines chilenischen Kupfer/Gold Projektes gemacht. Das Unternehmen hatte im vergangenen Quartal mit 24 Mill. USD positiven Cashflow und verfügt über Barmittel in Höhe von 91,5 Mill. USD.
