Der australische Goldminer verdient eine höhere Bewertung. Die Company ist in der Lage, die Goldproduktion von heute 205-240 Tausend Unzen auf mehr als 300 Tausend Unzen in 2012 zu steigern. Damit geht eine Kostensenkung von aktuell 745-820 AUD/Oz auf nur noch 560-630 AUD/Oz einher. Zusammen mit aktuelle Phantasie im Goldpreis könnte sich ein Engagement lohnen. Die Reserven liegen aktuell bei 2,6 Mill. Unzen, die Resourcen bei 9,7 Mill. Unzen, so daß ein nachhaltiger Betrieb erwartet werden kann. St. Barbara betreibt kein Hedging, so daß Goldpreisveränderungen unmittelbar auf das Ergebnis durchschlagen.
