Reuters Frankfurt, 09. Apr (Reuters) - Gute Nachrichten von Wells Fargo(WFC.N: Kurs) haben Deutsche Bank(DBKGn.DE: Kurs) am Donnerstag auf Höhenflug geschickt. Die Papiere bauten ihre Gewinne deutlich aus und legten um mehr als neun Prozent auf 36,880 Euro zu. Wells Fargo hatte zuvor für das erste Quartal einen Milliardengewinn in Aussicht gestellt. "Das ist gut für den ganzen Sektor: diese Flut gibt allen Schiffen Auftrieb", sagte William Smith von Smith Asset Management. "Jetzt denkt jeder, dass es auch bei anderen Banken im Quartal besser gelaufen sein könnte als bislang gedacht", ergänzte ein Händler. Auch Commerzbank(CBKG.DE: Kurs) lagen 7,6 Prozent im Plus. Der europäische Bankenindex kletterte um mehr als fünf Prozent.
