"Die Opel-Mutter General Motors stellt ihre eigene Überlebensfähigkeit in Frage. GM teilte am Donnerstag mit, möglicherweise Gläubigerschutz nach US-Recht anmelden zu müssen, falls er seine Verluste nicht in den Griff bekomme. In seinem Jahresbericht für die US-Börsenaufsicht SEC schrieb der ehemalige Weltmarktführer, es gebe keine Garantie dafür, dass sich der weltweite Automobilmarkt erhole oder dass es nicht noch einmal deutlich abwärts gehe."
