Ende Januar sicherte sich das Unternehmen die Lizenz für die Erweiterung „Burning Crusade“ zu. Mitte Februar folgte die Lizenz für den Vertrieb des Massive Multiplayer First Person Shooters „Huxley“ auf dem chinesischen Markt. Damit baut The9 seine Führungsrolle auf dem Online-Spielemarkt weiter aus.
