Ende Juli 2008 kündigte Sophos Holding GmbH ein Übernahmeangebot an. Trotz des Übernahmeangebotes zu 14,75 € notiert die Aktie noch unterhalb des gebotenen Preises, so dass sich auf diesem Niveau möglicherweise noch Chancen eröffnen.
Für 2007 belief sich das Wachstum auf > 27% und unabhängig vom Übernahmeangebot wurde ein Reseller-Vertrag für die von Ultimaco entwickelte Software "SafeGuard Enterprise" abgeschlossen und eine Vereinbarung zur gegenseitigen Empfehlung aller Produkte getroffen.
