Der Chipmangel trifft Ford Presseberichten zufolge hart. Die FAZ titelte "Bei Ford fällt die Hälfte der Produktion wegen Chipmangels aus" bezogen auf das 2.Quartal 2021. Die Probleme sollen sich bis ins neue Jahr ziehen. Obwohl Ford in vielerlei Hinsicht gute Karten haben müsste, wird dieses Problem erheblichen Einfluss nehmen.
