Appraised and Rated at People CMM(R) Maturity Level 5

FREMONT, Calif. and BANGALORE, India , Nov. 24, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- iGATE Corporation (iGATE or the Company) (Nasdaq:IGTE), the first integrated Technology and Operations (iTOPS) company providing Business Outcomes based solutions under the brand iGATE Patni, today announced that it has been successfully appraised and rated at maturity level 5, of the People CMM® - a framework from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), USA that comprises state-of-the-art, best practices for Human Capital Management.

The appraisal was conducted by a 10 member team led by Rajesh Naik, a SEI-authorized SCAMPI-A Lead Appraiser from QAI India Ltd. The scope of the appraisal was IT Delivery and Business Enabling Functions of their Bangalore unit.

Maturity Level 5 indicates that the organization is performing at an "optimizing" level.
