Rémy Suhas appointed Senior Vice President of Operations for Aerostructures

Rémy Suhas will soon be joining the Latécoère Group as Vice President of Operations for its Aerostructures business division (€340 million in revenues in 2013).

A graduate of the Sup Aéro, institute for aerospace engineering with an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, Rémy Suhas began his career at Dassault Aviation where he held a number of different positions in systems, quality, logistics and innovation services. In 2003, he joined Zodiac Aerospace as Head of its cabin crew seats division, before being appointed Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. Since 2009, Rémy Suhas has worked as Programmes Director for the Aerostructures and Systems division at Daher.

An aeronautics sector specialist with a strong industry culture and background, Rémy has extensive experience in operations management and in the oversight of programmes and contracts.

As Senior Vice President of Operations for the Aerostructures Industry business arm, his remit will be to pursue the ongoing recovery in the division's operational performance, and to accelerate the transformation in the management of its programmes, contracts and design office.

He will be assisted by Denis Bretagnolle, Senior Vice President Industrial division who, since his arrival at the end of 2013, has launched and overseen the adaptation of all industrial activities to the constraints of serial production.

Rémy Suhas will report to Frédéric Michelland in his capacity as President of the Aerostructures division since

June 2014. Frédéric Michelland will remain directly responsible for the division's commercial development and will continue to oversee its quality department.

Like Denis Bretagnolle, Rémy Suhas will join the Group's Executive Committee as a permanent guest.

Latécoère would like to thank Philippe Brel who is leaving the company, for his valuable contribution to all Aerostructures division projects during his time with the Group.
