OL GROUPE : OUMAR SOLET LOANED TO OL FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

Olympique Lyonnais is pleased to announce that the U18 international Oumar Solet has been loaned to the club until 30 June 2018.

The loan will cost €550,000 and includes a purchase option of the same amount. The deal also includes incentives of €2m and an earn-out of 20% of the capital gain on any future transfer.

Oumar Solet, who will be 18 years old in a few days, played in the U17 World Cup in India in October 2017 alongside Melvin Bard, Maxence Caqueret, Willem Geubbels and Amine Gouiri.

A starter at fullback this season with Laval, Oumar Solet has played 12 matches in National (Division 3) and has shown himself to be one of the most promising young French players at his position.

Oumar Solet will further Olympique Lyonnais' strategy, which is to rely on the most talented young French players as a complement to the extraordinary work of the OL Academy's scouts, educators and managers.
