Groupe Gorgé and Prezioso Linjebygg (Altrad group) partner in the nuclear field and announce their first award

Baumert, subsidiary of Vigians, new brand of Groupe Gorgé Protection of High-risk Installations, and Prezioso Linjebygg, subsidiary of Altrad group, announce the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding for a joint project to offer a full set of passive fire protection solutions for nuclear environments.

Drawing on their deep experience and expertise in the nuclear industry, Baumert and Prezioso Linjebygg will join forces to offer their customers in France and abroad a turnkey solution that encompasses engineering, certification, supply, installation and maintenance of solutions that protect trunkways and ventilation ducts.

This balanced collaboration will enhance each partner's expertise and offer their customers reliable, competitive and innovative solutions. Baumert and Prezioso Linjebygg will bring their technical expertise and renowned complementary technological innovations. They will bring together their project management competencies along with their robust resources in assembly teams that are qualified in the nuclear industry.

Construction programs for nuclear plants, as well as compliance requirements and the maintenance of active nuclear facilities are an important growth driver for the nuclear industry. The markets identified for the partnership cover all these operations and are valued at several tens of millions of euros.

Groupe Gorgé and Prezioso Linjebygg (Altrad group) awarded a first contract of close to €20 million euros

Baumert, subsidiary of Groupe Gorgé, and Prezioso Linjebygg, subsidiary of Altrad group, have been awarded a contract of close to €20 million euros in the nuclear field. This contract covers the qualification, supply and installation of cable-trays wrapping for a third generation nuclear power plant.

A major contract which marks the first success of Baumert - Prezioso Linjebygg partnership which aims at offering turnkey passive fire protection solutions to protect cable-trays and ventilation ducts in nuclear environments.

As part of the contract, more than 6,000 linear meters of different technical solutions addressing demanding fire requirements will be supplied and installed.

This contract represents close to €10 million for Groupe Gorgé and will mainly be executed in 2018.
