DBT signs up to the interconnectivity platform from HUBJECT

DBT (ISIN Code: FR0013066750 – Ticker: ALDBT), the European leader in fast-charging stations for electric vehicles, has joined the interconnectivity platform from HUBJECT which allows any EV driver to use to its network of charging stations, whatever their subscription. With 1,697 fast-charging stations already installed in 33 countries, the new partnership marks another step in DBT's development roadmap and ambition to make electromobility accessible around the world.

HUBJECT: CONNECTING CHARGING NETWORKS ACROSS EUROPE

INTERCHARGE from Hubject is a Europe-wide platform that connects the charging networks, experience and expertise of 190 partners. The joint venture was founded in March 2012 by leading companies from the energy, technology and automobile industries with the aim of standardizing EV charging processes for users across Europe. The INTERCHARGE network currently includes more than 7,000 charging stations across the continent.

In becoming a partner, DBT will lend further strength to the initiative which will benefit from the experience and ranking of a European leader with an installed fleet of 1,697 fast-charging stations. The platform could also benefit from DBT's universal fast-charging stations that already meet the 3 market standards (COMBO, CHAdeMO and AC/ZE Ready).

Hervé Borgoltz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DBT, said: "In removing country borders from the equation, this partnership is another step forward in making electric vehicles accessible for all. Thanks to the agreement, an EV driver from Finland with a Scandinavian subscription will be able to use DBT's charging stations in Spain."

This strong partnership was set up to guarantee operators access to a technology that is compatible with all of the supervisory criteria in place on the European market and, by extension, to enable end users to recharge their vehicle, whatever their subscription. It consolidates DBT's position as a strategic supplier on a global level.

LIFTING THE BARRIERS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Connecting charging and mobility operators across Europe through HUBJECT will open the way for transparent and collaborative dialog between all electromobility players across the continent and the deployment of a reliable, dense and, above all, easy access network.

For Olivier Delassus, Deputy CEO of DBT: "In the race to make electric vehicles accessible to everyone in Europe, HUBJECT was the obvious choice. With this solution, the accumulation of different subscriptions is a thing of the past. The goal is to gain in accessibility and simplicity when it comes to our European network of fast-charging stations. What we want is for drivers to be able to fully recharge their batteries in just 20 to 30 minutes - whatever their subscription and whatever their EV model - making it even easier to power the increasing number of electric cars on the road. Because our network is your network."
