Why Sprinklr Stock Sagged on Wednesday

The clouds looked rather dark for cloud computing specialist Sprinklr's (NYSE: CXM) stock on Wednesday. After all, the market clearly wasn't impressed with the company's second quarter of fiscal 2026 results, expressing this by trading the stock down by 10%. And that was on a generally positive day for stocks in general, as the bellwether S&P 500 index inched up by 0.5%.

Sprinklr took in revenue of $212 million for the period, a figure that was 8% higher on a year-over-year basis. Of this, subscription revenue comprised nearly $189 million, for a 6% improvement.
