Stocks dropped slightly on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) and the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) closing with small declines.

Bank stocks climbed and utilities fell on rising interest rates. The SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (NYSEMKT: KRE) gained 1% and the Utilities Select SPDR ETF (NYSEMKT: XLU) lost 0.9%.
