Suncor Energy Resolves Operational Issues and Soundly Beats Expectations in Q3

After a string of unfortunate events, it appears that Suncor Energy (NYSE: SU) is getting back to normal. The company's third-quarter results were a vast improvement from the prior quarter as it brought several of its oil sands facilities back on line. As a result, earnings blew by expectations and suggest the company could do even better in the coming quarters.
