Mortgage Forbearances Drop to Lowest Level Since April


The number of residential mortgages in active forbearance plans has dipped below 3 million and now makes up 5.6% of all active mortgages, according to the mortgage-tracking company Black Knight (NYSE:BKI)

That's the lowest active deferrals have been since early April. In late June, total forbearance plans reached 4.68 million, or roughly 8.8% of all active mortgages. Active forbearance plans dropped by 649,000 from the previous week, representing an 18% decline. Active Mortgage Forbearance Plans
