Dabei ist Grayscale unter anderem zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass XRP zentralisierter ist als Bitcoin, Ethereum und andere Kryptowährungen.Der Grad der Dezentralisierung für ein bestimmtes Netzwerk wird bezogen auf das gesamte Ökosystem der digitalen Währung bestimmt. XRP und XRP Ledger sind vergleichsweise weniger dezentral organisiert, da (i) Ripple als eine der treibenden Kräfte der Adoption beteiligt ist, (ii) der Großteil des XRP-Angebots im Besitz der Gründer und des Unternehmens ist und (iii) die hohe Konzentration von XRP in den Top-100-Wallets.Damit dürfte das Investmentunternehmen mit seinem XRP-Paper wohl so manche offene Tür eingerannt haben.
