Since its founding in 1994, the company has built a portfolio of over 5,000 patents related to OLED development and manufacturing processes. Its revenue comes from three sources: sales of base materials for the development and manufacturing of OLED screens, licensing of its intellectual property, and technology development support/contract research.

The materials and licensing segments made up over 97% of its revenue in 2019 and will continue to be the bulk of its revenue going forward.
