Is Google Parent Alphabet Still a Millionaire-Maker Stock?


Imagine it's the week of Aug. 19, 2004. Swimmer Michael Phelps won the 200- and 400-meter individual medley double at the Olympic Games in Athens. Terror Squad's "Lean Back" topped the U.S. music charts. And a young company named Google, which would later create a parent company named (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL), conducted its initial public offering (IPO).
