Is Clorox a Great Dividend Stock?
After bumping up against its all-time high in August, the stock of Clorox (NYSE: CLX) lost over 10% of its value. Year to date, shares are down more than 3%, meaning an investment here has mostly gone sideways in 2019, a time when the S&P 500 has gained over 25%.
Clorox's dividend of $4.24 per share is currently yielding almost 2.9% annually. Despite an impressive record of payouts to shareholders, is the company best known for its chlorine bleach still a great dividend stock?
