123fahrschule publishes preliminary quarterly figures and gives outlook for 2022

Cologne, 20 April 2022 - 123fahrschule SE (ISIN: DE000A2P4HL9; ticker symbol: 123F) has successfully completed the first quarter of 2022. With 137 driving instructors currently employed, consolidated revenue of € 3.5 million was achieved in Q1 2022 based on unaudited figures. This corresponds to an increase in revenue by 250% compared to the same period of the previous year. Furthermore, a positive EBITDA at group level was recorded for the first time in March 2022.

Significant successes were also achieved as regards acquisitions. The acquisitions initiated in Q1 will contribute to the further growth of the company with total sales of around 6 million euros and an expected positive contribution to earnings of around 0.9 million euros per year. According to current plans, the acquired companies will be fully integrated into 123fahrschule by 1 July 2022 and will then contribute to a corresponding increase in turnover over the year.

The Management Board of 123fahrschule SE is currently evaluating a significant number of further acquisitions, some of them larger, which may be completed as early as Q2. Subject to the successful completion of these transactions, the acquisitions may lead to a significant increase in revenue per year.

In view of this positive development of its business and in order to finance the further growth of its existing activities, in particular through the planned acquisitions currently under review, as well as for general corporate purposes, the Company has today decided to explore various financing options, including the possible issuance of convertible bonds. Quirin Privatbank AG has been appointed to approach potential investors. The Company will only make a final decision regarding its financing options based on investor feedback and the then prevailing market environment.
