Kein halbes Jahr ist es her, seit Bitmain, der Weltmarktführer für Mining-Hardware, seine neuen Geräte vorgestellt hat. Die sogenannten Antminer des chinesischen Unternehmens gehören zum Typ der ASIC Miner, die speziell für das Lösen der kryptographischen Rätsel entwickelt wurden. Die nächste Generation des Antminers wurde am 9. Oktober auf dem World Digital Mining Summit in Frankfurt am Main vorgestellt. Man ahnt es: Die Geräte sind leistungsfähiger und sparsamer.
