Der chinesische Mining-Hardware-Konzern Bitmain hat den Start einer Bitcoin-Mining-Farm in Rockdale im US-Bundesstaat Texas bekannt gegeben. Der Betrieb der Anlage erfolgt in Kooperation mit dem Rockdale Municiapl Development District, einer städtischen Entwicklungsinitiative. Zudem beteiligt sich auch die kanadische Tech-Firma DMG Blockchain Solutions an dem Projekt.Bitmain verkündete den Start der Anlage am 21. Oktober.
