infections). All of these patients were severely ill and not responding to treatment with antibiotics when they were enrolled in the study, so in other words, this expanded access approach was a last-ditch effort to save their lives.

In March, the company presented in vivo preclinical data revealing that AB-PA01 reduces biofilm in a Pseudomonas aeruginosa preclinical model, which further supports its potential for efficacy, as this has been an obstacle for previous treatments.
