GlobeStar Mining Corporate

Is a copper and gold producer with operations in the Dominican Republic. GlobeStar’s Cerro de Maimón operation is the first copper-gold mine in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean Islands. Construction was completed and commissioning took place in October 2008 and the low-cost Cerro de Maimón mine and processing facilities (both sulphide and oxide plants) are forecast to produce approximately 25 million pounds of copper, 12,000 ounces of gold and 553,000 ounces of silver during 2009.
