Zalando - das deutsche Amazon.com?

Das Unternehmen hat ein großes Marktpotenzial. Der europäische Modemarkt ist sehr groß (in etwa 420 Milliarden €) und fragmentiert. Der Gesamtmarkt ist eher stagnierend, das Online-Segment wächst aber schnell, da immer mehr Leute damit beginnen, online einzukaufen. Die Online-Penetrationsrate soll sich mittelfristig von 10 auf 20 % erhöhen. Zalando hat immer noch weniger als 1 % Marktanteil des Gesamtmarktes, ist aber gleichzeitig der unangefochtene Marktführer im Online-Sektor und sollte exponentiell von diesem Trend profitieren
