American Tower closed FY2025 with revenue of roughly $10.6 billion, up about 5% year-over-year, and net income of $2.63 billion, its highest in the five-year window. The company appears to have stabilized following a turbulent FY2023–2024 period marked by impairments and the divestiture of its Indian operations, and the underlying tower-leasing model continues to generate the steady, predictable cash flows that characterize the business.

On profitability, the recovery in reported margins stands out. Operating margin has climbed to roughly 46% from the depressed 30% seen in FY2023, though much of that swing reflects the absence of the large "other operating expense" and impairment charges booked in prior years rather than a fundamental change in the core business. Depreciation, amortization and accretion dropped sharply from around $2.9 billion in FY2023 to about $2.0 billion, a shift that has meaningfully lifted operating income. Segment trends are mixed: the U.S. & Canada base and the Data Center business continue to grow, Services revenue nearly doubled to $340 million, while Latin America revenue softened, likely reflecting currency headwinds. The gross margin near 98% is characteristic of the REIT structure and offers little incremental insight.
