Why Redfin Stock Was Tumbling Today

Shares of Redfin (NASDAQ: RDFN) were falling today on news of a possible merger of two rivals, and as growth stocks fell broadly after downbeat guidance from Microsoft last night.

As a result, Redfin stock was down 11% as of 11:16 a.m. ET.

News that CoStar was in talks to buy Move, the parent of Realtor.com, from News Corp. pushed online real estate brokerage stocks broadly lower today.
