Why Macy’s Stock Fell 12% in July

Macy's (NYSE: M) stock trailed a booming market last month as shares lost 11.9% compared to a 5.5% rally in the S&P 500 in July, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

The slump added to significant short-term losses for owners of the iconic retailing brand, with the stock down over 60% so far in 2020.
