The two companies, however, target very different disease indications. Vertex Pharmaceuticals is reshaping how doctors treat the life-threatening disease cystic fibrosis, while Regeneron Pharmaceuticals markets drugs used to treat vision loss, high blood cholesterol, and eczema. Is one of these companies executing its business strategy better than the other?
