Twilio Expands Its Ecosystem With a $3.2 Billion Acquisition

Twilio (NYSE: TWLO) stock recently rose after the cloud platform provider agreed to buy Segment, a customer data platform, for $3.2 billion in stock. Twilio expects the acquisition, which should close in the fourth quarter, to expand its total addressable market from $62 billion to $79 billion.
