Adidas, which just a few years ago was in the doldrums, has surged to the No. 2 sneaker maker spot thanks to new leadership and a better strategy, while Nike (NYSE: NKE) and Under Armour (NYSE: UA) (NYSE: UAA) were both recently downgraded by analysts. But Nike's troubles are focused on one segment of its business, while Under Armour's woes look more broad-based.
