NVIDIA's New AI-Optimized Chips Win Big With Chinese Tech Giants Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent

NVIDIA's (NASDAQ: NVDA) new artificial intelligence-optimized Volta-based graphics processing unit (GPU) accelerators are being adopted by Chinese technology titans Alibaba (NYSE: BABA), Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU), and Tencent Holdings (NASDAQOTH: TCEHY) for their data-center and cloud-service infrastructures, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced last week at the company's GPU Technology Conference in Beijing.
