Las Vegas Sands Covering Pay for 1,200 Third-Party Restaurant Workers

After agreeing to pay wages and benefits for its own 10,000 workers for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown, Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) now says it will also cover the pay of approximately 1,200 employees who work at third-party restaurants on its resort properties.

The casino operator is covering payroll costs for salaried employees while giving hourly and part-time employees a weekly stipend.
