Dodge Construction Network's 2022 OUTLOOK Conference

WHAT:

This webinar is an authoritative resource for construction executives, industry leaders and media professionals. It revisits Dodge’s initial predictions for the year and offers critical insight into the U.S. economic and construction landscape for the second half of 2022.

At the 2022 OUTLOOK conference held in November 2021, Dodge Construction Network’s Chief Economist Richard Branch shared that the dollar value of construction starts was likely to increase 6% in 2022. This event will give an update on where the construction economy stands on meeting that prediction.

Each webinar will begin with a national outlook from Richard Branch, Chief Economist for Dodge Construction Network. The localized sessions will be led by David Reaves and Sarah Martin. All webinars will include predictions for residential, nonresidential, building and nonbuilding sectors. A live Q&A opportunity will follow each session.

WHO: Each webinar will begin with a national update from Richard Branch, Chief Economist for Dodge Construction Network. The localized sessions will be led by David Reaves and Sarah Martin.

About Richard Branch: Richard Branch is an industry veteran with 20 years of experience as an economist. He is well versed in helping organizations gain the insight they need to enhance their profitability. His primary focus is to ensure Dodge’s preeminence in tracking, analyzing and forecasting construction activity and to work closely with national, regional and trade media to share this insight. This includes continued execution of the monthly Dodge Momentum Index and National Construction Starts research, as well as serving as anchorman for the prestigious and widely circulated Dodge Construction OUTLOOK — a seminal reference for the industry.

About David Reaves: David Reaves is a Senior Economist at Dodge Data & Analytics. Reaves analyzes and forecasts construction activity, keying off general U.S. macroeconomic trends, regional patterns and the global economy. Reaves is a contributing author for the Construction Market Forecasting Service (CMFS), which provides five-year projections for 22 U.S. building types, authoring several in-depth reports across key verticals such as manufacturing.

About Sarah Martin: Sarah Martin is a Senior Economist at Dodge Construction Network, where she forecasts and analyzes construction industry data for the US and Canada, across all major construction types and geographies. She is a contributing author to Dodge’s Construction Market Forecasting Service (CMFS) and the primary author of the Canadian Construction Forecasting Service (CCFS).
