RIB Software SE (RIB) signs a Phase-II-contract (No. 24 / 2020) with Erzbistum Hamburg (the Archdiocese of Hamburg)

Dinslaken, Germany, 01 September 2020. RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of iTWO 5D BIM Big Data technology for the construction industry, today announced the conclusion of a Phase-II-contract with Erzbistum Hamburg (the Archdiocese of Hamburg).

The Archdiocese of Hamburg covers an area of 32,520 square kilometers and includes the federal states of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and the Mecklenburg district of the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is thus the largest diocese in Germany in terms of area. The Archdiocese of Hamburg has more than 1,000 employees and looks after more than 4,000 employees in various corporations, associations and institutions.

To further professionalize the management of its buildings and properties, the Catholic Archdiocese of Hamburg has chosen iTWO fm - the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) of RIB. The Archdiocese of Hamburg plans to organize its real estate properties in iTWO fm in terms of infrastructure, technical and commercial aspects and to use the software to support construction projects. Amongst others, the modules for maintenance, rental management, electrical testing, a ticket system, an ERP interface and action planning will be introduced.
