JENA, 17 March 2020 On the basis of the decree of the President of the State Administration Office of Thuringia (Landesverwaltungsamt Thüringen) of 14 March 2020, according to which "events and meetings of people with 50 or more persons must be prohibited from now until further notice", the Management Board of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG has decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting, which was scheduled for Tuesday, 24 March 2020 (published in the Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) of 11 February 2020); it will therefore not take place. A new date will be announced in time.
