According to a preliminary analysis, sales and earnings of DATA MODUL AG declined in the second quarter of 2020, compared to the results achieved in the same period of the previous year. The main reason for this are the continued uncertainties in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The group EBIT in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2020 amounted to EUR 1.7 million, marking a decline of approx. 55% in comparison to the same period of the previous year (EUR 3.8 million). Sales declined by approx. 15% to EUR 43.8 million in comparison to EUR 51.2 million in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2019. Bookings declined by approx. 16% to EUR 44.2 million in comparison to EUR 52.7 million for the same period of the previous year.
DATA MODUL AG will publish the definitive results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2020 on August 8th, 2020.
