The US Is Getting First Fully-Electric School Bus FleetStarting this coming August, Silicon Valley startup Zūm will provide 74 electric buses to the Oakland school district, making it the first all-electric bus fleet serving a major US school district. These buses will also supply 2.1 gigawatt-hours of electricity to the Bay Area power grid, which is enough energy for 300 to 400 homes.
